The ultimate and highest leave taking is leaving
God for GOD,
leaving your notion of
God
for an
experience of that which
transcends all notions.
{"It is almost inevitable that most of us will experience in
this lifetime a crisis of
faith, which may or may not be
explicitly religious in character. It makes little difference what
religion we are brought up in,
because the crisis will find and obliterate whatever order, purpose, or meaning
we assign to the universe, so
that we may be reborn into a
new understanding of purpose that contains and supersedes the old. Even if
we return to the religion of our childhood, it is at a wholly new level of
understanding." - Charles Eisenstein
"If you see the Buddha on your
way, kill him." - Lin Chi
"Lin Chi means if you have an idea of the
Buddha that prevents you from having a direct experience of the Buddha, you are
caught by that object of your perception, and the only way for you to free
yourself and experience the Buddha is to kill your notion of the Buddha." -
Thich Nhat Hanh }
If I
were alone in a desert and
feeling
afraid,
I would want a child to be with
me.
For then
my
fear would disappear and
I would be made strong.
This is what
life in itself can do because it is so noble,
so full of pleasure and so powerful.
But if I could not have a
child with
me
I
would like to have at least a living
animal at my side to comfort
me.
Therefore, let those who
bring about wonderful
things
in their big,
dark
books take an
animal to help them.
The
life
within the
animal will give them strength in turn.
For equality
gives strength, in all things and at
all times.
Meister
Eckhart
JOHANNES ECKART (Meister
Eckhart, in English Master Eckhart). Meister Eckhart of Hochheim,
was condemned by the
Roman Catholic church
for expressing
heretical
views concerning
theology. Only in this century has
the bull in agro domini, in which Meister Eckhart was severely attacked
on a number of mystical
concepts
expressed in his sermons, been
officially withdrawn. This was worse for
humanity than the
condemnation of
Galileo Galilei.
In Meister
Eckhart we find religion
expressed in its
purest form, a form which goes
back in its spiritual
experience to the
mystical roots of
early Christianity. The
Roman Catholic church
could have compared Meister Eckhart theology with the writings of the early church
fathers, especially with the Alexandrian fathers.
Unfortunately some of Alexandrian fathers were
branded heretics during certain
periods by the Roman
Catholic church as well.
The
Roman Catholic church
condemned Meister Eckhart because his
mysticism was a threat to the very
survival of the Roman
Catholic church. Meister Eckhart's taught
communion with God. The
Roman Catholic church
believed Meister Eckhart 's
mysticism
alienated the
Roman Catholic believer from the
hierarchy of the Roman
Catholic church, because in Meister Eckhart's
theology
salvation was not dependent on
Roman Catholic church
membership and rituals, but on the desire of the
believer to enter
a close relationship with
God. Without the need of intercessors their would be
no need of the Roman
Catholic church.
Meister Eckhart never attacked the hierarchy of the
Roman Catholic church.
Meister Eckhart considered his
teachings to be wholly in tune
with the teachings of
Jesus. Meister Eckhart
must be given credit for having seen
the ancient wisdom of
Jesus, which has been
obliterated through the
centuries.
Meister Eckhart, like
Jesus, was a
mystic by
nature, who wanted
mankind to find
God in themselves. Everyone who can
realize this becomes a
son or a
daughter of God.
To Meister Eckhart
God
emanates
power, love and beauty into
creation, because
God cannot do otherwise.
God is
eternally the
changeless
One. God is the
Word that must be spoken.
The Word of
God
emanates and yet
remains changeless.
The Word of
God is such a great
wonder.
All creatures emanate from
God and yet remain within God. God is in all things. God is within, yet God
remains without.
The mystic feels God within
himself . God is
felt to be still,
pure,
blissful, apart and yet not
apart from all.
The
mystic
feels God is the essence of the
mystery. For
God lives in the depth of the
mystic's
soul, a soul which is of
substance and yet not of
substance. This is a personal
experience in the
mystic's
consciousness about the
relationship between his
substance, his
soul and God.
The
mystic
sees this same
relationship in all
creatures and in all
creation, because he
sees that all
things are of 'substance and
soul', of
matter and
consciousness.
All things emanate from
God and all things
wish to
return to their
source. The ultimate
goal of all
creation is to rest again in the arms
of God.
"Whether you like it or not, if you
know it or not,
secretly, from
within, the
whole of
nature reaches after
God."- Meister Eckhart
God is to be found
deep in the human
soul.Tremendous comfort is given to
the individual who makes fusion with God his goal.
Fusion rests on the fact
that the human
soul is part of
creation, comes from
God and has God
as its innermost kernel, a divine spark.
God, prominently
alive,
enlightens the
human
soul through the
divine spark. The task
of man is not to search
without
himself for
happiness but to search
within where this
divine spark
lives. Meister Eckhart suggests
man leave his
senses behind and grasp the
divine spark, the
source of all
goodness and
happiness.
The
human
soul is the most
glorious part of
God's creation as it is
conscious of the
knowledge that
God rests within it. The
soul's search is answered when the
soul becomes
conscious of
God, knows that God is all powerful,
feels the
blissful
force of God residing in the
self's soul. Not only does the
soul
know this, but it
feels and
experiences
fusion!
This can only be because the innermost kernel, the
divine spark of
God is a part of the
soul. Realization of
God can only grow from the
divine spark into an
ecstatic
divine fire, setting the
whole
soul into a
divine glow, if the
soul is entirely
free and unconditioned.
The soul can only be free and
unconditioned if it is not enslaved by the senses and the outside world. In
the soul's
spiritual growth the
soul must become detached from all
outward conditions. It
does so by spiritual exercises,
which train the soul to look
inward.
This does
not mean that the soul can block all
external impressions and stimuli,
the soul's natural condition will not allow it to do so, but it
learns to be unmoved and unshaken by them. The
soul becomes invulnerable and
unconquerable by the outside
world.
Nothing from
outside can
harm the
soul anymore, because
contact with the
divine spark
within is supplying
regenerative energy all the time.
In the center is divine
calmness, so the soul will regain
this calmness every
time.
In the words
of Meister Eckhart this means that a person must be
free from the
physical
world of
desire in order
to live in the kingdom of
God. A
human must become a stranger to
the physical
world of
desire. His conversations must
be with God. He must
live an internal
life separate from
desire. In the beginning the
mystical aspirant will
feel
pain when he tries to tear
himself away from the
physical
world of
desire, because he is so
conditioned by it. At
the end of the mystical
path he becomes like a rock
unshaken by the raging blasts of the stormy ocean.
Meister Eckhart claimed that
spiritual
perfection can only be reached by
surrendering the self to
God. This is the most important step to take.
Only after surrendering our own
will completely to God will we be able to attain
fusion with
God. If we let God's
divine spark become a
divine fire in our
soul then the great undescribable
glory of the
One without comparison fills our
whole
being.
We start to laugh with
joy. We
feel complete,
content and
satisfied. We
know that now at last we do
know. We have finally
reached our destiny, because
now we understand.
Now we have come again to
were we came from.
God is giving birth
constantly. Not only physically
in nature which surrounds us, but also
spiritually, in the
inner soul
of everything alive.
God does not stop being the
Creator after
physical birth.
God goes on and on in
renewal.
The soul has
its roots in God and is being born innocent and
fresh constantly.
Every human must become like
Jesus to fulfil the mission of
Jesus.
God is a force residing in the
heart of the
universe and is so
transcendent that
God can never be defined in our modes of
thinking and
perceiving.
God also has a living dynamic counterpart which
evolves in
history and lets
His self be
known in the
human
soul. This is
known to
humans as the
Son of
God, Jesus.
After being
granted a professorship in Cologne, Meister Eckhart was accused of being a
heretic. During the investigative
process Meister Eckhart was ordered to the papal court at Avignon were he
died. -adapted from

This web site is not a commercial web site and
is presented for educational purposes only.
This website defines a new religious
ideology to which its author adheres. The author feels that the falsification
of reality outside personal experience has created a populace unable to discern
propaganda from reality and that this has been done purposefully by an
international corporate cartel through their agents who wish to foist a corrupt
version of reality on the human race. Religious intolerance occurs when any
group refuses to tolerate religious practices, religious beliefs or persons due
to their religious ideology. This web site marks the founding of the religion
aptly named The Truth of the Way of Life - a rational religion based on reason
which requires no leap of faith, accepts no tithes, has no supreme leader, no
church buildings and in which each and every individual is encouraged to
develop a personal relation with God through the pursuit of the knowledge of
reality in the hope of curing the spiritual corruption that has enveloped the
human spirit. The tenets of The Truth of the Way of Life are spelled out in
detail on this web site by the author. Violent acts against individuals due to
their religious beliefs in America is considered a hate
crime.
This web site in no way condones violence. To the contrary
the intent here is to reduce the violence that is already occurring due to the
international corporate cartels desire to control the human race. The
international corporate cartel already controls the world central banking
system, mass media worldwide, the industrial military entertainment complex of
America and is responsible for the collapse of morals, the elevation of
self-centered behavior and the destruction of global ecosystems. Civilization
is based on cooperation. Cooperation does not occur at the point of a
gun.
American social mores and values have declined precipitously over
the last century as the corrupt international cartel has garnered more and more
power. This power rests in the ability to deceive the populace in general
through mass media by pressing emotional buttons which have been preprogrammed
into the population through prior mass media psychological operations. The
results have been the destruction of the family and the destruction of social
structures that do not adhere to the corrupt international elites vision of a
perfect world. Through distraction and coercion the direction of thought of the
bulk of the population has been directed toward solutions proposed by the
corrupt international elite that further consolidates their power and which
further their purposes.
