rational thought embodies the certainty of mathematics.
A rational
number is any number that can be expressed as the quotient or fraction of two
integers, a numerator and a non-zero
denominator.
A rational number is a real number in that both express
symbolically 'something' materially quantifiable within
the
noumenon.
This is not true with
rational thought as there is nothing
materially quantifiable as thought only involves
abstraction of sensory
data.
Rational thought, or reason, may be elevated to a supernatural
province abstracted from the noumenon - abstracted, that is, from
nature.
As
the faculty of reason appears unique to human
beings, human beings
consider reason as proof of the
